Step 1: Import DVD movie
Insert the DVD disc into your DVD drive and click "Open DVD" to locate and import your DVD movie. Or you can add DVD IFO file.

Step 2: Choose Output Format
After you load the DVD files, click the "Profile" drop-down list to select "WMV – Windows Media Video (*.wmv)" or "AVI – Audio Video Interleaved (*.avi)" as the output format.

Step 3: Start to convert DVD to Windows Movie Maker
Now you can click the "Convert" button to starting converting DVD to Windows Moive Maker AVI or WMV format.
Step 4: Import DVD to Windows Movie Maker
After you get the output video clip ripped from the DVD movie, now you can begin to import it into your Windows Movie Maker.
Click on "File". Then click on "Import". A window will appear. In the window, navigate to the video clip you extracted from the DVD movie just now. Then double click on the file. You'll see the icon for the file in your Windows Movie Maker "Collections".
